How Does It Work?

Our specialized treatment process is designed to provide comprehensive care for TMJ disorders, orofacial pain, and sleep-related breathing issues.

Our Treatment Process

Depending on your condition/diagnosis, we recommend the following process:

1. Initial Phone Consultation

The process begins with a short 5-minute phone call to review your condition, complaints, and symptoms. During this call, we’ll schedule your in-person consultation appointment.

2. Comprehensive In-Person Consultation

Your detailed consultation appointment will last 60-90 minutes (sometimes longer) and includes:

  • Thorough review of your medical history
  • Detailed examination and diagnosis
  • Determination of the safest and most effective treatment plan
  • Patient and family education (for those who accompany you)

In some cases, further evaluation may be needed, including scans, or the solution may be as simple as prescribing basic home care.

3. Follow-Up Care

We provide consistent follow-up appointments, either by phone or in person, to closely monitor your progress. These are included with your treatment because our priority is ensuring your oral device effectively delivers the results you need.

4. Ongoing Support

If you have any questions after the consultation, feel free to contact us; we are here to help you and will be more than willing to discuss your questions and/or comments.

Mobile Services

For patients or their loved ones who are homebound, in assisted living, or unable to travel to our clinic, we offer mobile services as well. We routinely take care of our vulnerable patient population and our team provides compassionate, professional care in the comfort of your home or facility.
